Steve is our founder, project specialist, husband to Luci, and a lifelong Mobilian. Having worked in the specialty construction industry for over 40 years, Steve started GCS in 1997 in a small warehouse. When contractors need a product, they can't find elsewhere; he will source it. Steve is well respected in the construction community, and it helps that he never meets a stranger. His experience affords him a vast knowledge of how our products work, how they should be installed, and how they should be operated. If he can't fix it, then it can't be fixed.

Steve is passionate about helping others, which is seen by his involvement with the Wounded Warrior Project and Hope Outdoors. For many years he has provided accessible hunting space at his Chatom farm to allow others to hunt.
